Describe your issue:

Installed the Octopus Max EZ motherboard, just in the process of the initial setup. At the point of testing stepper motors. The first 5 motors are working as they should. Using 2209 stepper motors. Cant get the 6th motor on my mother board to talk to the last stepper motor. I have moved the uart cables around trying different combinations. All the stepper do work, just not on motor 6. I have the jumpers in as per manual low voltage for the 2209 and the jumpers for sensorless homing.
I am trying to set up sensorless homing, so thinking maybe i have a config issue. Tried ! on the enable pin so forth, i have run out of ideas.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Trev,

first thing I would do, check the drivers. Meaning, exchange a working driver with the (maybe) dead one. Are the before working 5 motors still moving?

I finally got it to work. For some reason couldn’t use the 3a & 3b motor slots. I use 1&2 for A & B then 4,5,6,7 for my z motors.
