Describe your issue:
Hi all,
So first off, have to say, this site has helped me on numerous occasions and cannot thank you all enough.
On to my issue, I have a Voron 2.4 that I am adding some more toolheads to. I started with an initial 2 heads where I used EBB42 boards, this went fairly painless and have been using it in this configuration for some time now.
I am now trying to add 2 more heads, that use EBB36 boards, but having NO luck. I have completely started from scratch where I reflashed the EBB42s and the mainboard and that worked flawlessly, but whenever I add the EBB36 boards, I cannot get UUID responses. I flashed katapult to the EBB42 and they showed up on can query, but after flashing katapult on the EBB36, the can query never returns any devices. The EBB36 seem to be in the correct mode, as the status LED does the same constant flashing as the EBB42, I have tried hitting reset numerous times as well.
I would like to replace the EBB42 with the 36, so I have used 3 different EBB36 boards and none return their IDs.
I have now used different cables, twisted, untwisted, short, long, the cables I used on the EBB42s, added terminator resistors, removed terminator resistors, pretty much anything and everything suggested anywhere on the internet /s
The exact mcu’s are as follows:
Mainboard: STM32F429ZGT6
EBB36 1.2.1: STM32FG0B1
EBB42: STM32FG0B1
3D Mellow fly can bus expand board - fyi, tried with and without this board
This has now been about a week of trying numerous things, but I am making no progress, anyone have any idea what else I can try?
Thank you in advance
