Problems with UUID canbus

hi,

I know this is a question that may not correspond to this forum, but I don’t know where to ask it.
I am trying to configure a canbus, mellow sht42. And after modifying the configuration, it gives me this error at the beginning.
to Rpi, I have connected the Octopus board and in Mellow sht42 by USB

“‘SHT42’: Invalid CAN uuid”

I have connected by Shh and I have sent the command

“ls -l /dev/disk/by-uuid”

Getting this response…

"
total 0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 May 25 04:31 0213-DFD6 → …/…/mmcblk0p1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 May 25 04:31 ccbe1f98-54b5-495f-affb-a570a10d0921 → …/…/mmcblk0p2
"

But the result is not clear to me… if the UUID is:

"“0213-DFD6”

or as it says total: 0 has not found any usb…

however if I send a

“lsusb”, it seems that if it finds it, the response is:

"

Bus 001 Device 006: ID 1d50:614e OpenMoko, Inc.

"

Some ideas?

a fact that I do not know if it is relevant.

I have the toolboard, Mellow Sht42, connected ONLY with the usb cable, I have not supplied the 24v of the PSU…

Does it need to be connected to the PSU? for the initial configuration

You need to follow the Klipper canbus document and use the built in script to find the uuid. The huvud must be flashed and have 12/24v provided to function. I assume the sht42 is the same.

https://www.klipper3d.org/CANBUS.html

seems the script in the link for find UUID, is if I have it connected by CANBUS, but I have it connected by USB.

How would it be?

maybe something like this:

~/klippy-env/bin/python ~/klipper/scripts/canbus_query.py usb0
