Describe your issue:

Not an issue…

I think I have some play in the hotend, and after testing to calibrate the input shaper, there’s a significant difference between the axes.

Is there any way to view the data captured by the accelerometer without using the script? Perhaps via the console or some kind of manual capture to a file.

The idea is to try manually moving the hotend first, check the screws, and then try moving it again manually. This is to see if the screws I retightened have solved the problem, without having to reassemble the entire printhead and run the test.

Yes there are ways to display accelerometer readings. I, however, fail to understand how that data could be used to quantify looseness in the printhead. Peak acceleration as the printhead “hits” the end if it’s wiggle could work IF you had a reliable repeatable way to apply a force to the print head. Wiggling it by hand would not be repeatable so before/after comparison would not be useful.
