Basic Information:

Printer Model: Rook 2020
MCU / Printerboard: BTT SKR mini e3 v2.0
klippy.log no need

After a lot of research here and there i can’t still find the proper way to make this screen work on my setup . I followed this schematic to make the custom ribbon https://imgur.com/ab2SxpD and tried different pin setup found on reddit without success .

If someone could help me with a config sample that could make it work it would be really helpful .

Cant make it work beside backlight .

Interesting. Since you can’t get it to work, how did you arrive at this conclusion?

Displays connected to the printer board are a major pain in the back:

  • No standardization whatsoever
  • Every manufacturer, be it the display manufacturer or the board manufacturer are doing their own thing, i.e. you are lucky if a BTT display works with any BTT board

and that’s exactly the reason why Klipper is focusing on screens attached to the SBC and driven by KlipperScreen instead of running behind the countless possible permutations, driver, pins etc.
