Sovol SV07 TMC 'stepper_y' reports error

Hello everyone,

I installed a Sovol SV07 yesterday and printed some test objects without any issues. However, today when I tried to level the bed, I encountered two errors:

  1. TMC ‘stepper_y’ reports error: DRV_STATUS: 40150060 s2vsb=1(LowSideShort_B!) ola=1(OpenLoad_A!) cs_actual=21 stealth=1 Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the “FIRMWARE_RESTART” command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown
  2. TMC ‘stepper_y’ reports error: GSTAT: 00000002 drv_err=1(ErrorShutdown!) Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the “FIRMWARE_RESTART” command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown

These errors occur whenever I try to home the axes or level the bed.

I swapped the X motor cable with the Y motor cable, and everything worked fine. I pressed the home button multiple times, and both X and Y axes functioned correctly. However, when I returned the cables to their original positions, the error reappeared.

I’m a beginner and just starting to learn. I researched the forum but couldn’t find any similar issues. If there is already a topic addressing this problem, I apologize.

Could this be an issue with the driver? How can I properly diagnose and fix the problem?

Thank you for any help or suggestions!

Hello @fateiro !

Deleting the template does not mean we do not know there should be one.

Please attach the klippy.log to your next post.

Have you checked the cables for proper condition?

Sorry about that!

The issue is resolved; it was just a loose wire on the board connector. Fixed!
Thank you very much.
