Stepper X GSTAT error + /bin/bash input/output error

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Ender 3 Pro 2020
MCU / Printerboard: SKR e3 Mini 1.2
Klipper Host: Le Potato S905x-cc
klippy(4).log (3.3 MB)

Describe your issue:

Printer has been working fine with previous Klipper hosts, and still prints right now if I flash it back to Marlin. I just swapped the Klipper host to a Le Potato and it hasn’t been able to finish a single print without getting

TMC ‘stepper_x’ reports error: GSTAT: 00000001 reset=1(Reset)

seemingly randomly. And then when I try to reload the firmware, Mainsail can’t connect to Moonraker. I will then SSH into the Le Potato and be greeted with

/bin/bash: Input/output error
Connection to printerface.local closed.

Any idea what’s going on here? I’m using a tested 3A/5V transformer with a known good cable. In order to get it working again I have to unplug/replug Le Potato. This exact scenario as described has occurred every single print. I’ve tried starting over with a fresh .img and reinstalling everything through Kiauh. Since this is my first time using an SBC, I’m following this guide to the letter: A very long step-by-step…

Edit: Reflashed board, changed SD card, got it to finish one print, now it is doing it consistently during probe 6/25 of my bedmap, and it still does it at completely random points during prints. Under/over volting stepper hasn’t helped. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Solution: My original S905x-CC board was a dud. Got a replacement and have had zero errors over a dozen prints. If you can’t pin it down, don’t be afraid to suspect your hardware.
