Describe your issue:

Hey there,

I’m using a BLTouch V2 and noticed something strange? G28, BED_MESH_CALIBRATE, and PROBE_ACCURACY work great; however, I noticed my probe is actually still stowing after each sample.

My suspicion is that this has to do with my old 8 bit Creality MCU and how the sensor is connected somehow? Wondering if anyone has any idea why this is happening. Hoping I’m misunderstanding something or missed something simple.

Something else I should mention: if I set probe_with_touch_mode to true then the second sample will fail due to the pin failing to deploy (which it doesn’t even get a chance). I don’t think Klipper is expecting the pin to be stowed. This mode works fine if stow_on_each_sample is true.

Please let me know if you have any ideas and thanks for your time.

Is your BLTouch genuine? I’ve seen several clones that ignores touch mode and still stows on each sample. But they do it fast, so it doesn’t affect probing.
