Ok, this is quite strange.
Timer too close in fact is more software related, while to my best knowledge Timeout with MCU / Lost communication with MCU is mainly hardware related.
Please provide a new klippy.log showing the error.
If it is not an ancient laptop that is below the performance of a RPi 3 then it should work. An overloaded host (CPU or memory) can be diagnosed in the klippy.log. See Advanced Trouble-Shooting / Graphing Klipper
