OK, so basically I modified my Eddy-Coil which I had laying around and glued a standard generic 3950 NTC directly onto the PCB-Coil inside the Eddy-Probe.

I drilled a holw into the eddy housing , routed the wires and modifed my Toolhead-Board so that I have a additional temperature sensor.

Everything works fine, except when Im trying to calibrate the Eddy Coil with the newly modified Temperature sensor:

No calibration helper registered for [temperature_probe temp_eddy_coil]

Internet says that the coil version is not supported for temperature compensation, due to the missing temperature probe of the eddy-coil.

But as I added the Sensor to the coil I thought that It might be possible now that I have a Temperature sensor…

Any suggestions?

Try:

[probe_eddy_current btt_eddy]
...

[temperature_probe btt_eddy] # <---- Must "share" names
...

Ah yes…
I didn’t get what the “share names” is about, in hindsight its pretty clear tbf.

Thank you, works!
