TMC Driver error

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Modified wanhao D9
MCU / Printerboard: BTT SKR Pico
klippy (4).log (2.5 MB)

Describe your issue:

TMC ‘extruder’ reports error: DRV_STATUS: c0180010 s2vsa=1(ShortToSupply_A!) cs_actual=24 stealth=1 stst=1
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
“FIRMWARE_RESTART” command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Printer is shutdown

Ive been printingf fine for like 4 day with the new extruder but then got a drive error the other day
and now randomly get them during prints
im using a btt skr pico
with a creality sprite extruder

could be my wiring as im not sure what are the wires coming out of my motor, but then i question why doies it sometimes work fine , like it ran without issue for 3 days

now getting this error:
TMC ‘extruder’ reports error: GSTAT: 00000002 drv_err=1(ErrorShutdown!)

Either:

  • Wiring, e.g. broken cable, connector etc
  • Dead stepper driver
  • Dead stepper

So in terms of wiring, I’m not 100% sure that I have the pin out correct, like I said I seemed right coz it did work but yeah

Well, if you get intermittent errors, then its most likely from the list above. Wrong pins or messed up stepper phases would cause a permanent failure condition.

So had a guy also mentioned stealth chop on the discord chat, I disabled that and seems to be working for now, will update later again, but yeah, lol yesterday morning I did just order a new stepper so yeah😂
