Unable to calculate z_offset with PROBE_CALIBRATE

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Creality Ender 3 V2 w BLTouch
MCU / Printerboard: 4.2.2
Host / SBC: Pi 2

Describe your issue:

I’m failing to obtain a z_offset using PROBE_CALIBRATE due to a large gap between calculated and manual. The manual value would take the printer to below calculated z=0. Because I couldn’t this far in the process until I set a dummy z_offset, I just set one at 0. What should i set it to to be able to calculate the actual value without crashing the nozzle?
