Usb camera add to manta m4p board cb1

MCU / Printerboard:manta m4p

The simplest little thing and i cant figure out, i have a usb camera, and trying to get it to run throught the manta m4p usb connections for the cb1…
I know cam works on other devices, but cant seem to figure out where i need to add something in my cfg’s?

Anybody added a cam to their manta board using ythe usb connections??

Well that was a huge over thought when all it took was a restart with it plugged in…the exact reason you shouldnt work on things when tired!

Hello,

I had a similar issue, the solution was to uninstall crowsnest and reinstall it according to the mainsail docs.

On another note, I added an old Microsoft Lifecam vx-5000 to my printer that I found at my grandparents house (I asked if I could have it). But the real kicker here is the fact that I bought some fisheye lenses meant for mobile phones, and then glued them to it. The fov on this thing is insane! In case anyone else wants to do it, it adds a lot of functionality to your printer as you can mount the cam super close and still get the whole bed in view. For context, my cam is mounted less than a foot away from my print head, and it still gets the whole bed in view! Such a fun mod, and useful too.

Happy Printing,
Blake
