I am doing the first checks to get my printer up and running after changing the toolhead. I noticed my calibration cube was significantly elongated on the z axis and that the best is crashing into the stepper motors because it is going to far down. I halved the rotation distance because it was double the size it should have been and was met with a very loud grinding noise, even though there was no such noise when the rotation distance was 2.

Most like wrong rotation distance and / or too high z-velocity for the given rotation distance.
