Hi,
I have been running klipper for about 3 years, initially on an ender 3 Now I have a heavily modded tronxy x5sa pro using an SKR E3 V3 for X, Y and Extruder, and a SKR E3 V2 for Z and beacon. The SKRs are attached via USB, the V2 one does not a have power wire in the usb cable, the V3 one has the pin set to isolate the power in the USB.

I have been using beacon for about a month with out issue. Yesterday z_tilt_adjust failed, but I did not capture any info and put it down to a glitch as it subsequently worked. Today I ran a z_tilt_adjust, and it went through 2 iterations correctly, then failed as it was trying to move to an invalid location. It looks like the 3rd x,y coordinate has been over-written somehow. This was the first and only thing that I ran today (apart from a G28).

My software is up to date, I checked before running z_tilt_adjust, and the beacon software was the only one out of date, I did update beacon,

Thanks
.

As this error (at least to my knowledge) never popped up before and nothing changed in this code area recently, it is probably fair to assume that it is caused by the beacon modifications.

Since these modifications are not connected to the Klipper project, it likely makes sense to address this to the beacon project.

I have now raised this on the beacon forum as well.

I will update here if/when I get a solution

This did turn out to be a beacon issue. Now fixed in the latest release of the beacon software.

Thanks for your help
