Describe your issue:
… I have a modified Anycubic Chiron to a corexz. It’s my first time trying klipper so i ran into trouble. [Lost communication with MCU]
I tried flashing multiple times but the error persist all the time i print something. Stock power supply from the chiron, stock bed. Maybe someone can guide me to make this printer works. Thanks!
I had this issue for a while. Started happening when I brought a second camera into the mix, even though they were both hooked up to the pi through a powered USB hub. Once I moved the USB to MCU cable to the hub also, the issue went away.
That’s a Manta board, with the CB1 piggybacking, there is no USB cable between the host and the MCU.
But at the end of the log bytes_retransmit increases.
Is the CB1 firmly inserted into the B2B connectors? Did you secured it with the heat-sink and screws? What’s the temperature of your CB1?
I’m in the process of upgrading my printer (X5SA) to the same combo - M8p 1.1/CB1. when i first upgraded I was confused because the board was getting power, but couldn’t see the MCU…
I was afraid of breaking either one of those boards, but one of the connections was loose, or wasn’t seated correct. I think you really gotta seat those puppies in there. your connection might be intermittent; once things start moving, maybe the connection breaks. I -think- the connection that was loose in my case was the right hand one. I think BTT should provide torque specs with this board - so we know when its tight enough.
