Describe your issue:
Dear All, I’m new to this discourse group and this is my first time posting. My apologies to everyone, if this problem of mine has already been discussed and resolved. So, my normal bed mesh and adaptive mesh have stopped working right after upgrading to Klipper & Moonraker’s latest version. Previously everything was working fine. I tried uninstalling Klipper and Moonraker via Kiauh and reinstalling them again but my original BL touch still fails to complete probing the bed. It will successfully probe a couple of points and then the pin will fail to deploy and the bed crashes on the nozzle. When I ran the probe accuracy test to see if the BL touch was faulty, the test came out fine. Your help on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much everyone.
Hello there @EddyMI3D , first of all thanks for replying so promptly. My power connector to the PI looks very sound without any feeling of looseness. Actually when I run the normal Klipper bed mesh, the BL touch will always fail at the 12th probing point on the bed based on my probe_count of 10, 10 and a mesh_pps of 3, 3. However if I change the probe_count to 3, 3 it completes the bed probing miraculously. Previously before the upgrade to the latest moonraker and klipper build, I was happily using Klyeisah Adaptive mesh without any problems. However after I upgraded to the latest version on the 29th of July this year, my normal bed mesh probing or Adaptive mesh probing fails to complete and I had to shut down the power before the bed crashes onto the nozzle again. I think there might be some incompatibility issues in the latest version with my setup. I came to understand that now Adaptive mesh is natively available in Klipper. Thank you.
Hello @EddyMI3D, you nailed it mate, so taking your advice I went on to further check on my buck converter and the voltage to the RPI, seems a little off, it was reading 5.5V on my multimeter when it should be either 5 or 5.1V. Anyway the real culprit was due to poor connection on the connector supplying voltage to the BL touch. So you’re right, it is due to some power loss. Thank you so much @EddyMI3D you’re indeed my saviour. I truly appreciate your help and God Bless you my friend. thanks…
