BTT SKR Mini E3 v1.2 X-Axis seems to run in spreadcycle mode despite stealthchop is used

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Ender 3 Pro modded with genuine BLTouch
MCU / Printerboard: BTT SKR Mini E3 v1.2 / Raspberry Pi 3B+
klippy.log (188.9 KB)

Describe your issue:

Hi,
i klippered my ender 3 pro (previously with MarlinFW) and now my x-motor makes a high pitched noise when it moves. Everything else works (homing, heating, moving).
Thing is, with MarlinFW before, it moved like a charm.
All other motors (Y, Z, E) don’t make any loud noises.
Spread Pins are not jumpered.

What i tried:

  • Reflash everything (Pi and MCU)
  • Checked all pins
  • Connected the X-Motor to the Y-Driver: Moves without any noise
  • Software is up-to-date
  • Flashed back the previous MarlinFW Image: All moves are as silent as before. Flash back Klipper: X-Diver moves like its in spread mode.

So i assume some Software-Bug? Can someone support me or guide in the right direction to tackle this issue?

Exactly the same problem with my identical setup

With beamklipper X stay silent

It seems like klipper ignores stealth settings in both sides, but beamklipper is stealth by default

Hello @SimonSlowfood and welcome to the forum!

Is it really identical and you are running the Klipper version from 3 years ago (v0.11)?

If you have a issue, I recommend to open a new thread with all requested informations.

the problem was that the two legs of the controller were shorted from the factory
