Clone CR touch config query on Ender 3 Pro running Klipper

Describe your issue:

I have added a clone CR Touch to my Ender3Pro. It is an older 8 bit board, as I am running Klipper I have no use for the LCD screen on the printer so I have wired (I thought correctly) direct to the ribbon connector. Currently I have a red light on the cr touch but it is not self testing on booting. I am really struggling to know what to enter in the printer.cfg file under sensor & control pins. Can anyone guide me a little please ? Everything I read seems to confuse me more

Thanks for this. I have seen this article. After looking at these pin 27 boards on Amazon it appears the track from the sig pin on the reverse of the PCB goes to the pin I have connected to I’m the picture. Thought there was no need to purchase one as I don’t intend to refit the LCD display

What I’m wondering about: On your picture you mention just 3 wires/signal. for the CR touch you need at least one wire/signal more.

If you do not need the connector for a display, then you can connect directly, e.g., with jumper cables. The adapter has no function except making the correct pins a bit more accessible.
