Describe your issue:

Hello all, i’m totally new to klipper i finally managed to connect my raspberry with mainsail to the printer but i’m not able to print, it seems that the temperature sensor is not working properly. I’m not able to extrude, after few measurement with an infrared temperature sensor i get this kind of gap: 250°c on the screen ~150°c on the infrared. 100°c on the screen ~60°c on the infrared… What can i do to correct this? Thanks a lot!

Hello @skaxel !

Infrared in that case is quite inaccurate.
Important is the temperature inside the hotend.

Try with a multimeter with temperature scale and one of these:

and move it into the hotend.

Hello, i will try that but i really think i have a temperature issue, the printer is not able to extrude, i tried to clean then changed the hose but when i take the filament out of the extruder it’s bent like a spring, not fully melted…
