Creality Ender 5 Pro (2021) v4.2.7 motherboard + BL Touch

I will have to post how I used Ellery’s file to fix my 4.2.7 to work with the Sonic Pad.

I found that one of the main things was that I had to go through the custom setup and not as an Ender 5 Pro…

I have the full config file that I can share when I am at home. I am not home right now.

i have the Ender5 Pro+BL-Touch with a microswiss extruder. The original motherboard was changed to 4.2.7 because the first one came DOA (pretty sure it was 4.2.2). I brought it in 2021 and had merlin firmware on it but decided to try out Klipper with Fluidd recently. I have it installed and connected to the printer fine but i cant seem to get it to home properly. I have tried reading through documentation and forums but nothing i try seems to work. There are a number of example configurations and i started with the stock one from here klipper/config/printer-creality-ender5pro-2020.cfg at master · Klipper3d/klipper · GitHub.
I dont seem to be able to add the bltouch properly and im not sure what im missing from my config.
The error im getting is:

17:45:02
// Failed to verify BLTouch probe is raised; retrying.
17:45:04
// Failed to verify BLTouch probe is raised; retrying.
17:45:06
!! BLTouch failed to raise probe

I know the bltouch is working properly and had been with no issues using merlin firmware, so wiring isn’t the issue. I tripple checked the connection and can use the console to run a “pin_down” and “pin_up” so it appears to be recognised but it just wont go up or down. I also threw the old marlin firmware back on there just to check its all working correct so 100% no issues with wiring. Bit of a mind boggle.
printer.cfg (3.2 KB)
any help would be really appreciated
** i figured it out. I checked the motherboard and how i had installed the bltouch, and it was set to pin PA7 - once i changed it, was working fine. now to the next problem to fix!
