Doubts about BED_TILT

Hi,

As I have mentioned, the printer I have is a CoreXY with 3 motors for Z, a RatRig V3
I am trying to adjust the BED_TILT configuration, since I have doubts that the parameters that the default configuration brings are correct.
The “home” setting for BED_TILT is:

[z_tilt]
z_positions:
0.0
200,400
400.0

points:
60.60
235,370
360.60

horizontal_move_z: 12
recalls: 10
retry_tolerance: 0.02

To this I would have to indicate that as Z Probe I use a BLTOUCH sensor, whose configuration is:

[bltouch]
sensor_pin: ^bltouch_sensor_pin
control_pin: bltouch_control_pin
speed: 7
pin_move_time: 0.675
sample_retract_dist: 10

pin_up_reports_not_triggered: True
pin_up_touch_mode_reports_triggered: True
x_offset: -28
y_offset: -13

I put it so that they are seen above all (x_offset E y_offset)

Finally, I provide a plan view of the printer, where you can see the Leadscrews, the pivot points where the bed rests, and the bed itself.

It was to ask if this default configuration is valid, or not, I suspect not… because

in z_positions, it should be the pivot points, measured with cad software.

z_positions:
-4.9,-2.53
199.57,406.47
404.9,-2.53

In points, the points where it is tested are indicated, and here is the other question I have… when I indicate those points I have to take into account the distance from the Nozzle to the BlTouch PIN
Due to the default configuration, it seems that it does take this distance into account because, in the “factory” configuration, the second point is (200,400) but the point where it does the test is (235,370), being 28 mm , the distance from the BlTouch PIN to the Nozzle.

Mind the difference between z_position and points. As we are talking about the coordinates of the printer in relation to its endstops, I don’t think it makes sense to measure this in CAD.

As mentioned already in one of your other threads: If you have specific questions on a RatRig setup, then it makes sense to ask in the RatRig community.
