Describe your issue:

I am dealing with “MCU ‘mcu’ shutdown: Timer too close” error, and as I am trying to find the root cuase, while reviewing the klipper firmware config for the MCUs, I noticed that in mainsail on the machine page, the freq for the EBB SB2209 (RP2040) is showing 12MHz. I was expect the clock speed for the RP2040 to be closer to 133 MHz.

In the klipper makeconfig menu for the RP2040, I did not see anything where I would be able to adjust the clock speed, so it is normal for the EBB to run/report a clock speed fo 12MHz? Is this becuase of the canbus setup? If this is not normal, any informationon how to correct this?

This is the “software timer frequency” and not the CPU core frequency. These chips are rated at 133 MHz, but Klipper runs them at 125 MHz (analogous to what the RP2040 uses).

For the TTC error, see Timer too close

@Sineos thanks for the information, that help me cross that on the list of the cuase of the TTC error. I do think I have traced it down to my rapsbery pi 3b+, getting little too warm and slowing down. I have pulled swapped it out for a Pi 400, I had extra and so far verything is good. I am tring to print the skirt out for my voron so the cooling fan for the eletronics may not be the work well.
