To what value have you set that?
I set my Vref to 6.40 on the xyand z stepper drivers
I would start by setting VREF to 0.8V (1A current). 8A will destroy pretty much any non-high-current stepper driver (and some steppers too).
I adjusted the Vref form 0.64 to 1.16 V which is the max voltage for the motors and they still wonât move
Did you mean 6.4 volts or 0.64 volts the first time?
I meant 0.64 volts sorry for my incorrect value
Did you compile the Marlin firmware yourself?
If not can you send a link to the firmware you used?
If you revert to Marlin do the motors move?
I complied the firmware myself and marlin only works if I use the stock mainboard I treid marlin with the manta and the motors also wouldnât move
Please attach the Marlin config-files that work for you for comparison to your next post.
here are the marlin config files that I use for the stock mainboard I have sent them as txt files because the website doesnât allow me to send them as h files

If I read correctly the motors have never moved when connected to the M5P with the A4988 drivers.
It seems to me you have a hardware issue NOT a configuration issue.
Where did you source the A4988 driver boards? BTT no longer offers them for sale. Are yours actually compatible with the M5P?
Hi there no I am not sure that the drivers are compatible so I guess that must be the problem thank you all for your help I will buy some tmcâs from btt and get the board working
