printer.cfg (3.1 KB)

Hello @onsight !

As for this:

it should be:

[extruder]
step_pin = PB3
dir_pin = PB4
enable_pin = !PD2
...

Hi thank you for reply but i have also tried that but extruder gear don’t move.

At the moment i have gone back to Marlin and extruder works fine,i just don’t get it as i been at it all day.

Hopefully someone can help

here is my other printer.cfg. Still no dice

config-20251108-171248.zip (1.5 KB)

Other printer.cfg?

Anyway, the enable_pin is still the same:

[extruder]
step_pin: PB3
dir_pin: !PB4
enable_pin: !PD1
...

It should be !PD2

Why does my extruder gear not turn but work fine on marlin firmware ?

Maybe the enable_pin is different than your settings in Klipper.

So - have you tried enable_pin: !PD2 ?

no i have not tried that,also could it be wrong rotational distance for sprite extruder ?

No, it’s the wrong enable pin you use.

I will tey !PD2 tomorrow as just started a print. Im really hoping it is that as looking foward to using klipper mate

i used the skr mini e3 v2 example printer.cfg from github and it was !PD1 on there.

Here: klipper/config/generic-bigtreetech-skr-mini-e3-v2.0.cfg at master · Klipper3d/klipper · GitHub it is also !PD2

my mistake it is !PD2 in the example priter.cfg. I really don’t get how i got !PD1.

Thank you for helping me with this silly mistake of mine. Hopefully tomorrow i will be able to print using klipper.

Thanks again pal

I don’t think so. You may try and report back later.

To be on safe side without more drama i will just start a fresh skr mini e3 V2 printer.cfg as i only added my rotational distance and start,end macro

Thank for the help pal. Really appreciated your time and help as all sorted now.
