How to start a print from USB drive plugged into PI?

I want to put a usb extension and use usb stick to start a print .
any idea how to do that

my USB stick is not automatically mounting to the pi. is there a shell script or something which will automatically mount?

What OS are you running on the Pi?

This is a pure Linux question:

  • Depending on the Linux distro USB device may get mounted automatically or not
  • There are many guides to handle this. Some keywords are “usb mount by UUID”, “usb autofs”
