Describe your issue:

I don’t know if this is the right place to ask but installing klipperscreen keeps failing. Klipper, Mainsail and Moonraker were no problem. Klipper runs on the PI and I printed with it via mainsail without problem. Everything was installed with KIAUH, exept Klipperscreen, here I get the message that it is incomplete after the failed installation. I have tried it again several times but it keeps failing.

Try

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/xterm.list # <-- Check /var/lib/dpkg/info/ for the correct name, but should be 'xterm'
sudo apt install xterm --reinstall

Thanks, I will try it on monday wenn I’m back home

Tried the suggested 2x but got the following message, see pic

What kind of Linux distribution is this?
It seems the Linux installation is pretty much screwed up. Never seen such errors. It also throws the same for some libhtml-parser-perl.

I’d take a fresh SD card and provision a new original “Raspberry Pi OS” on it and redo the Klipper install with KIAUH. Probably a lot faster than trying to fix this.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try, I got new 32GB SD cards. If I use the Raspberry Pi Imager and KIAUH I can assume that I have a good version of the software.

What I noticed is that after the SD cards that are written with the imager and I put them back in the pc, only 250MB remains of the original 128GB size. Is this normal?

A Windows PC cannot read most parts of a Linux SD card / HDD etc., so, yes, this is normal.

Ok, good to know.
In the meantime I got my two raspberries working again, everything seems to work.
What was strange, first I installed and tested everything except klipperscreen. Only then I installed klipperscreen with KIAUH, on the PI it worked immediately and I could operate the printer. What did not work anymore was via PUTTY, here everything remained blocked after the installation of Klipperscreen and I did not get a KIAUH menu anymore. After the reboot everything worked normally again, I am not worried about it, I just wanted to mention it.

Thanks for the help, I learned something new again.
