MCU ‘mcu’ shutdown: ADC out of range

Sensor ‘extruder’ temperature -99.585 not in range 0.000:300.000

Numerous sensors changed etc, just suddenly its decided to do this, was working fine past week, this machine has become such a pain in the rear…it has constant problems. I dont know where to start with this one, other then with what i have replaced, i have sat there watching and temps are holding then suddenly the above message appears even though the temp is clearly at desired temp.

Your extruder temp sensor is failing. Either wiring or defect sensor

Thats 3 in a row in a single day? thats gotta be a record lol…you think maybe my board could be shorting them?

The most likely problem is that you are overtightening the screw holding it in:

This ends up breaking/shorting the conductors within the cables.

Its a tube style, not the glass bead thermisters…usually yes i would agreeand learnt that afew times.

Turns out the small connection i over looked was the culprit lol…opps

Make sure you don’t overtighten the grub screw with the tube style thermistor - you can damage it internally.
