MCU 'mcu' shutdown: Timer too close after tuning Trinamic drivers

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Voron 2.4 350mm
MCU / Printerboard: FYSETC-SPIDER v1.1
klippy.log
klippy (8).log (4.5 MB)

Describe your issue:

Hi! I’m trying to figure out why starting prints seems to fail now that I’ve tuned my stepper drivers using the Trinamic spreadsheet. I wasn’t able to find any obvious places where my configuration was failing, so I’m hoping others will be able to help. Here is my printer.cfg and the spreadsheet I used for calculations.

printer.cfg (29.2 KB)

Second post to circumvent file attachment limits:
TMC2209_Calculations_Voron24.zip (41.2 KB)

May be the path to gcode files.
I have this:
[virtual_sdcard]
path: ~/printer_data/gcodes
on_error_gcode: CANCEL_PRINT

The error message is MCU ‘mcu’ shutdown: Timer too close
Typically not related to tuning the TMC params.

Which “Trinamic spreadsheet” are you using?

The only one that I’m aware of is the Back EMF calculator.

They are named “Calculation Sheet”

Interesting and useful - thank you.

When I was working with the FAE with the TMC2225, I would have loved a spreadsheet like this as I did all of the calculations in it manually.

It looks like my issue was caused by pushing my microsteps a bit too high for my hardware config. I reduced the microsteps down to 32, which seems to have resolved the issue. Sorry for the commotion!
