Microprobe

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Tronxy X5SA
MCU / Printerboard: BTT Manta M8P v2.0
Host / SBC: CB1
klippy.log

No klippy.log I am aware of that, it’s just a general question

Describe your issue:

I’m new to klipper and this is the first setup I’m working on. I ran into some issues which I resolved by getting help from you guys and discord.

My question is about the biqu microprobe v2. Does anyone use it as the z-stop? I got mine in the config and can use the macros to deploy and stow but haven’t gotten to testing it yet. One thing that concerns me is that it appears triggered when stowed, will this cause any issue with the z axis movement?

And has anyone got any suggestions as to any macros that would be beneficial in this printer? I’m still running stock components other than the board.

Thanks in advance.

I have one of those probes attached to the z endstop port on an SKR E3-V3 mini. I had to with that board because the probe port didn’t have a pullup resistor and was causing errant triggering with the probe.

Did you try a search for “microprobe” here? I got 39 hits and I’m very sure someone run into the exactly same problem before.
