Move out of range error / Klipper / Cura

Hey everyone, I’m new to 3d printing and have been trying to get klipper setup to run with my Neptune 3 Plus. I’ve got a Raspberry Pi 3b running the latest version of Klipper. I’m using Cura as a slicer. I’ve tried adding a START_PRINT script I found in the forums to help with the “Move out of range” error i’m getting. I’ve tried setting the bed mesh and the nozzle location etc. I’ve tried following the “Understanding X and Y Axes Limits and Homing” guide but maybe i’m just not getting it. I’ve attached my klippy logs as well as my printer config. I’m sure by this point i’ve got it jacked up pretty good. I’m hoping its a simple config fix. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello @3dpjunkie

You have to align

  • bed size
  • probe offset
  • bed mesh

Also:

Git version: 'v0.12.0-410-gcf3b0475d-dirty'
Untracked files: klippy/extras/auto_speed.py

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll re-read that article and try to figure it out.

Regarding the autospeed.py thing, should I just remove that completely? I just thought it would speed print times a little.

First I would prioritize a proper print - later you can think about speeding up

I agree 100%. I had it printing really well using Cura and the firmware that came on the Neptune 3 Plus. I’ll try to get it working with Klipper

Just finished up a 3 hour print after setting the x/y parameters. I guess I missed something the first time around because this was crazy easy to do. Turned out perfect, thanks for your help.
