Octopus PRO + U2C communication problem

Describe your issue:

Hello! I have setup of Octopus Pro + BTT U2C + Fly SHT36. Some time ago i configured Octopus Pro + U2C + EBB SB2209 and it works. But now i can`t reproduce it. BTT U2C and SHT36 are configured now and i flashed klipper to SHT36 with CanBoot. But octopus doesn’t want to work after i change freq setting of my can0 (with EBB SB2209 i configured 1_000_000 freq on can0 but SHT36 is prepared for 500_000 freq, so i changed can0 settings).

Communication schema like this:

So i can`t call to mind what i did in my last setup that Octopus Pro work with U2C. Can someone share klipper firmware settings for communication over BTT U2C? Or CanBoot bootloader makeconfig with klipper firmware settings?

If I recall correctly you have to flash the EBB with the right CAN frequency being set in the firmware config before compiling it.
Not just set it in the printer config.

Thank you for answer! I don’t have any problem with EBB now (becouse EBB was fired up =( ). Now i have a poblem with Octopus Pro ↔ U2C. Generally i can;t prepare right firmware for MB.

Should i set for communication by U2C?

And should i set up 120Ohm jumper on U2C for USB?

Look here:

There are guides for the several revisions of the Octopus boards and a way to get rid of the U2C as well.

Though I’m currently tinkering on an Octopus Pro V1.1 it does not use CAN.
CAN is used on my SKR2…

Wrong settings for the Octopus Pro connected to a U2C, Klipper Bridge is for when you don’t want to use a U2C or CAN hat.

Should be Communication interface (CAN bus (on PA11/PA12))
