Describe your issue:

After update I get:
Klipper reports: ERROR

Option ‘static_value’ is not valid in section ‘output_pin x2_mot_cur’

Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the “RESTART”
command to reload the config and restart the host software.
Printer is halted

Board has Toshiba drivers that use a value to set driver currents. X1 motor driver is on an expansion board and now reports an error, Appears this option is now been removed? I there another way to express it or go back to an earlier version of Klipper. Attached below is my printer.cfg I have been using.

printer.cfg (19.3 KB)

Whenever you update Klipper you should read through the applicable entries on Configuration Changes - Klipper documentation

[…]
20240123: The output_pin static_value parameter is deprecated. Replace with value and shutdown_value parameters. The option will be removed in the near future.

That did not answer my question or solve my problem… Mabey (after figuring it out myself) should have suggested changing “static_value:” to “value:”. Now that would have been support. Close this issue and YOUR WELCOME!

When you are not satisfied with the help of volunteers, there are nicer ways to express that.
