Basic Information:
Printer Model: Voron 2.4 350
MCU / Printerboard: Octopus in CAN bridge mode with EBB SB2240/2209 board
using the orca slicer in the printouts below.
This week I updated my Voron 2.4 with CAN support and got rid of a lot of wires.
Additionally, I now have the accelerometer onboard and I have started to optimize and tune the print quality.
The first results from the frequency response test showed that I have some HW problems, which turned out to be some loose screw that attaches the TAP to the X-rail. After fixing this the curves looked much better, though I am new to this topic and it might not be true. Here are the resulting curves:
I then did the pressure advance test printout and set the right value for the particular filament slicer settings.
The results were good but still I see some artifacts:
I printed the benchy and se there two things:
(1) I see some resonance patterns that I did not see when I printed the resonance test printout
and
(2) I see some strange patterns like over-extrusion going around the upper part. There are also other places where a similar effect is shown but not that extreme. some similar over-extrusion is also visible on this test printout, but without any ringing:
Does anybody have an idea where to tune furter?
