Printer sd card required?

Hi,

I have an Ender 3 Pro (1.1.5 “silence” board) and use Kilpper + Mainsail.
I am very happy with that !

One point look strange to me : if I remove the printer sd card the firmware dont start (blank local screen and no connection to the Pi).

I just try to understand why and if its normal ?

I’m not sure getting your problem.

I found myself another explanation.

If there is no client connected to the pi web server the printer firmware wont start at all.
This has nothing to do with the printer sd card.

Again : is that normal ?
