Was struggling with the virtual serial port interaction subsequent to moonraker’s directory restructuring (had been tdy for months and upon returning and updating, my printer was borked). Got that all resolved barring one issue - I have some shell scripts that relied on use of the virtual serial port. Since moonraker’s folder restructuring, the virtual serial port is now accessible via ~/printer_data/comms/klippy.serial. Just to let peeps know who may stumble across here looking to resolve scripted comms with the klipper host.
The Klipper docs look to draw reference to /tmp/printer virtual serial port. It may make sense to update the docs drawing reference to the new virtual serial port path. I didn’t find a way to open an issue on the klipper github for documentation change submissions. So this is my attempt to draw attention to the need for updating same.
