Replace board on 3D45

I want to use klipper on my 3D45.
Would the easiest way to do this be to replace the controller board?
Would this lead to a very difficult time making a .cfg file?
The Ender3v2 uses the same chip, so would a board like the Bigtreetech skr mini work?

I Think it would be best to replace the mainboard with something like a SKR series. There are premade configuration files for SKR boards that are really easy to use
