Hey all, this is my first post and I wanted to ask this forum specifically for help on my recent voron micron build. I have the printer all set up except for the screen, which I cannot get to work. The pi is a cm4 lite and the mainboard is a btt manta m8p v1.1.
I’ll explain what I’ve done so far.
When I first plugged in the screen, it was completely black with no signs of life, even though I got it to at least power on on another pi. Then, I replaced the driver with a screen only version I found which resolved the issue for some people, but not me. At this point I didn’t have kiauh or klipperscreen installed. After sshing and changing out the drivers, it showed the console, prompting a login. So then I installed kiauh and klipperscreen, which only changed it from console to console but turning off and on every few seconds. I tried to look through the troubleshooting guide with the logs, but none of the issues mentioned in that guide appeared. What is the issue?
If your DSI cable is in the right orientation you might want to read here:
However if it is showing the console it is actually working.
I have the same display working on my v0 though not with a M8P.
But at least with KIAUH it was no issue at all.
yeah I did that about halfway throught setup when I changed out the drivers, and that fix at least made it display something. Still not real klipperscreen. Thanks for the response though
*when I tried to run that command before it didn’t work, but I manually removed the combined driver and installed the one in that command
