Setting z-offset lacks clear confirmation

Hello everyone,

I’m in the process of setting up and calibrating klipper with a Ender 3 v3 SE. My next step is bed levelling but for now I am trying to set the z-offset correctly.

I didnt receive a clear alert after setting it and there was no apparent way to check the z-offset after I set and saved it. (The current z-offset was 0 according to the display.) I was under the assumption that it hadn’t worked so just before my print started I tried to set manually the z-offset again resulting in the nozzle scrubbing over my build plate.

So, what frontend are you using you think that produces issues.

Let me first express my gratitude for this project. It feels very well designed. I’m a 3d printer enthusiast, and the whole process of installing klipper has been a thrill.

My frontend is MainSail v2.12.0 I believe, I installed both that and Fluidd.
