Shutdown on verify_heater while printing and PID calibration

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Biqu Hurakan
Hello Everyone, My printer trips by on some certain types of files, I am looking to troubleshoot the issue here is my klippy log and what I have done so far:

klippy.log (1.3 MB)

I thought It was an issue with the cable to the head at first so I did cut the wires and redone the whole thing.

my print fails at the same layer so I thought It is still due to the cable because the head is moving so I did another print which covered the same area of the bed and completed nicely, I read on another discussion that I may need to do PID tuning, when doing the tuning and the it reaches the target then trips, without touching anything I increase and decrease the temperature even above the PID target and works fine for hours without tripping, I don’t know what to check next.

Hello @7ama !

The hotend is not able to keep the desired temperature.
So:

  • Check the airflow of the part cooling fan
  • Do you use a silicone sock for the heater block?

I’m a bit curious about the heating settings:

  • 240°C
  • 215°C
  • 210°C
  • 215°C

the room temperature is very cold (9 C)

So i read more and added verify Heater to the .cfg and did the calibration without issues now I will try to print and update the progress

Heating setting was me doing trials

Solved by adding verify heater
Then changing the heater, i found only 1 thread of the cable was disconnected from the heater, i dont know how a single thread would affect this but I am glad it is working now
