…I have been unable to flash my printer as far as I can tell.
when I check for USB connections after the flash connection is not found.
How do I know if my printer has been flashed?

Check this for the correct phrase

serial = /dev/serial/by-id/<your-mcu-id>
I have queried many times but get "no such file or directory.
Finally got past this part by following the directions at 3DPr. I know there are more up 2 date scripts (kiauh) but following the website to a T got the job done!
Were you able to get Klipper running on your X1? Did you use the config files from that guide?
