Describe your issue:

Just installed a new SKR 3 mainboard and Biqu Microtouch V2. , I wasn’t able to get it working correctly from the Biqu instructions at first but later found the following post and those settings helped quite a bit.

Klipper probe config for the BIQU Microprobe (V1/V2) · GitHub

I can issue the commands to extend and retract the tip, if I query the probe I receive the correct state. If I try to home the printer, everything starts out good but after the first touch, the tip stays up and the printer throws an error.
Error:
Endstop z still triggered after retract

If I issue the command to put the probe back down manually after the error happens the tip will extend as expected.

Any help is appreciated, I spent most of the night trying to figure it out, but this was as far as I got.

I got it sorted out

Every time I visit the forums I try to help out and answer some q’s, I try to make time for things like that, maybe more so because I don’t have time myself, like literal life long time, and when I get stuck on things and think back on the time I lost, it frustrates me, very much and I think that makes it easy to relate to anyone else that is working through the same issues, albeit maybe with a little more time to spare. Then I was called a Spammer…

Moving on,
I didn’t know if the “solution” would be helpful to anyone else.
I honestly thought after each touch, the probe stays up and comes back down. But when it’s in use that’s not hot it actually works. I had never owned this style probe and only remember seeing it in action years ago, the original BL Touch version I mean.
I think most of the YouTube videos that showed the probe, or a short clip, would focus on the retraction portion. I didn’t realize it stays down and acts as a little pogo pin.

I didn’t notice this when setting up the new board and probe because I hadn’t run a bed level, I didn’t run the bed level because I thought the probe wasn’t fully functioning.

I figured it out by rolling the dice, but with the added hindsight of one ruined build plate and a newly added physical Emergency Stop button.
