Okay, so I have gotten myself a cheap clone 7inch touchscreen display for my RPi 4, connected via the DSI port, planning to use it with Klipper.
Now… My problem is that the touchscreen does not work. As in the touch does not work. The GUI of KlipperScreen comes up nicely and perfectly after a boot, but the touchscreen does not react at all.
I did run a DISPLAY=:0 xinput to see if the touch controller was detected and… It wasn’t.
Running the display on a bog standard Raspberry OS image gave me perfect out of the box touch control. The DISPLAY=:0 xinput gave me a touch controller, namely the generic ft5x06.
Anyone has any idea how to enable that controller on Mainsail OS?
