Spider v3 Hotend

Basic Information:

Printer Model: Ender 3 Pro
MCU / Printerboard: v4.2.7
klippy.log as needed

Describe your issue:

Purchased the Creality Spider v3 and installed it with out to many hassles. I ran a PID_CALIBRATE, which also was successful.

I used the newer thermistor and the existing heater element.

When i go to print, the printer will warm up to 150 degrees as the pre-heat, then error out with ‘echo: “extruder” not hot enough’.

Does anybody know what this means? There is very little chatter online and most of it i have tried. I’ve reset where the connections are and applied the heater grease to no avail.

Does anyone have an idea to try or a possible working solution?

Hello @bbrietzke !

In fact, it is needed.

I looked through the logs and it was also complaining about my z-axis. I reset the connection to the stepper motor ( which was loose ) and SURPRISE! it solved both problems.

Thank you!
