Sudo Bed Temperature aliases?

Maybe add a table in config that users can create a list of reported bed temperatures and the True Actual temperature the bed reaches.

On my 350 r2 slicer software set to 60, Klipper sets 60 but the actual temp on the surface of the bed is only 50.

a table which users could set the temps needed to meet the slicers requested temps might be a nice feature for thicker beds.

Hello @ShaGGy_UK !

Interesting, but why sudo?

maybe wrong wording

maybe equivelent would be better description.

could even be a cfg file that klipper uses for reference when setting temps based on therosistor readings.

Also see Feature idea: bed temperature loss compensation for some discussion around this.

Generally speaking, there is no common rule for this, so such a table will hardly help. Likely the difference is ~20K when you use a target of 100°C

a table if created by the user would be a list of verified temps on the users printer.
if no cfg file exists it is bypassed by a simple if exists else instruction.

it would make klipper be in sync with actual bed temps rather than false reported temp being read by the thermistor on the wrong side of the bed.
