Hi, I’m new to using klipper, have been using Marlin 2 for a log time. I am having problems connecting to my printer.

What I can do is:

  1. Upload firmware to the MKS GEN v1.4.
  2. Add a printer and have a tick next to it telling me it ok.
  3. Get temperatures form the bed and hotted sensors.
  4. Run STEPPER_BUZZ STEPPER and get the correct movement from the steppers.
  5. Have reinstalled the OS (so many times that I can not remember), even tried changing the RPI, slowed down the comm’s speed to the MKS (in the firmware and in klipper) - No change.
  6. Install from both the MainsailOS, OctoKlipperPI and a install of just the Raspberry OS and installed Klipper form KIAUH - again unable to connecting to printer.
  7. My last attempt was to install a priviest version on RPI OS - Still no go.

Under the printers menu it says that my printer is in Standby, it also shows Hotted and bed temps.

This makes me think that it is communicating with the printer, but when I press “SWITCH TO PRINTER” it don’t. I cannot figure out what I have done wrong.

Please can you help me!

Thanks
