Unable to get Katapult UUI

So if a U2C has Klipper in bridge mode on it it identifies itself as

pi@mainsailos:~ $ dmesg -W
usb 1-1.1: new full-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd
usb 1-1.1: New USB device found, idVendor=1d50, idProduct=606f, bcdDevice= 0.00

So you definitely have candleLight on your U2C but depending on its production date it could be a :lady_beetle: firmware.
Try compiling the candleLight fw yourself:
https://docs.meteyou.wtf/btt-u2c-v2.x/candlelight/
Note: The guide is not update to 1M can speed yet

Thank you for your help, I have had the Voron 2.4 for 8 months and been trying to get the firmware and software working for the last 6 months spent a heap of time trying to make klipper and canbus work this is the only mod which I thought would be great to have.
Should I try to remove candlelight as if so how. I don’t remember loading candlelight not sure whether it is needed now.
Can I reload the u2c and start again is that possible easily

Ok it is an older U2C therefore there is the chance you have the bugged fw preloaded by BTT on it.

Yes you can, try compiling and installing the fixed firmware youself - ( :eyes: the last link)

Sorry now I am confused I have read so much but still have the same results, looks like I have to forget about the u2c as I don’t know how to clean it, maybe need to purchase another or just use the main board but I see people seem to have trouble with that idea as well.
I have spent so much time and money on toolhead boards etc and still cannot get my Voron working very despondent at this time thank you again for trying to help, any more ideas always appreciated.

Just follow the linked instructions here.

This is how you flash the U2C with a fixed firmware.

Hi I have finally got the all the right result through Pi but when I put them in printer cfg I cannot connect to klipper through mainsail whatever combination I use.
I have left off the toolhead and U2C at the moment to try and connect just the mainboard and Pi
I have attached the Klipper log
klippy log 2 july 2024.log (83.4 KB)

As you can hopefully see yourself klipper cannot connect to your mainboard via usb - check the path/usb devices

Thank you for all your help I now have connection with the printer and toolhead
but with just the toolhead board I get an error which seems inconsistent as nothing is connected to the toolhead “Sensor ‘extruder’ temperature -60.401 not in range 0.000:270.000”. I know it is not in range I think there should be no reason to have it as an error.
