I am having a terrible time trying to set up my printer just at the moment: I just cannot seem to get the Z right.
I think it is at least partially due to the bed being not quite entirely flat, but I’d understood that the bed mesh levelling feature should be able to deal with it…
My top tip for the day it to use a bed level visualisation system: I had a look at mine and it looks like a picture of a black hole.
Clearly at some point, the printer has gone badly wrong and tried to drive the print head through the middle of the bed, and with some success…
Ok, so it’s only actually 0.5mm or less, but even so.
I had a point when I started, but I now have a more overriding concern, so I will come back to it.
