Describe your issue:
I have removed all heat bed and extruder items. I am converting to a CNC router setup. I am using a stepper motor for the spindle motor, this has its own external stepper drive. The motor is slow on purpose and works good for aluminum on a small desktop router. Done this before.
I am using the FAN output pin for the step signal. It is PA0. I tested by simply putting PA0 as the step signal on the Y axis, and it worked! This gives a 24vdc step pulse signal to the drive and the spindle works good.
Of course I need the Y axis to be the Y axis. So I want to create and use the “manual_stepper spin” as my stepper to control this spindle and use PA0 as the step pin. I have tried this, but don’t seem to work? Could someone help me to implement this code? config. and macro to operate? Thanks!
