Describe your issue:

Bought printer damaged in shipping, reinstalled software(klipper, kiauh, moonraker, fluidd, and klipper screen), got copy of original printer.cfg. Flashed Octopus both methods numerous times, sometimes will show flash is successful, check again and no such file or directory. Tried different cables, mico-SD cards, unplugged and plugged usb . Nothing gets rid of mcu ‘mcu’: Unable to connect. Spent days googling topic and retrying flash methods. Kinda new to this so don’t know where to go from here. It currently shows it but still get the same error.

Hello @mcdonaldscott59 !

Are you sure the electronics is running fine?
Have you checked all the cabling?
Does the PSU of the printer work?

There are issues with the connection of the two CAN devices (printer board, board at the printhead).

Haven’t checked CAN devices wiring yet, working my way thru. This can cause that error? All electronics on bottom were pulled loose, had to rewire.

Yap, both.

Okay thanks for that tip, I got panels to remove!

Two wires going down to nozzle from board spliced and bare from there? Nothing else was loose or disconnected, both lights come on. Doesn’t detect CAN in lsusb tho.

Fixed, was error in the printer.cfg file provided by previous owner.
